Assistant Hard Services Facilities Manager

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Hardware Service Facilities Manager to work for a public sector organisation based in Catford / Lewisham on a initial 6 month contract. 

Your main role will be to be responsible for the day to day management and delivery of a range of facilities/building services maintenance and
repairs contracts and associated activities to ensure service requirements are delivered within contract agreements.

This will include: 

  • Small works project manager – creating basic scope of works for contractors, reviewing costs of quotation and evaluating value for money.
  • Ensuring safe working practices
  • Supervising building maintenance works.
  • Work closely with the Helpdesk and FM team around PPM tasks, remedial actions and reactive repairs.
  • Supervising Engineers

The ideal candidate will be a experienced Facilities Manager / Maintenance Manager across hard services / building maintenance with strong project and contractor management experience. You will also be ideally IOSH qualified or equivalent. 

£200 – £250 per day via a umbrella company
