Job Description:

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst on an initial 6 month contract, working on a remote basis.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Business Analyst who has worked on Transformation programmes, ideally focussing on finding and realising cost savings.  You will have experience in process design & redesign, requirements elicitation, engineering and development, have experience developing new and existing processes and have experience searching out and quantifying financial savings.  Key duties include –

• Work closely with the Project Manager and subject matter experts from the service areas concerned to achieve the Project’s goals
• Identify and explore opportunities for financial savings.
• Proactively undertake all necessary business analysis tasks including gaining a solid understanding of current processes and pain points, systems and data, user needs analysis, requirements elicitation and ‘to be’ process design
• Research how comparable authorities/companies deliver similar services and support market testing
• Document and communicate your findings and ideas to the project team, service and other stakeholders
• Work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Shape and evaluate options as part of business case development

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the public sector, however this isn’t essential.
