Job Description:

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Highways Electrical Engineer to join on a contract basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience working on Highways and providing support for Health and Safety, electrical compliance, effective project supervision of maintenance activities and capital works programmes. You will be planning, organising and supervising the delivery of  Highways Electrical Asset Team (HEAT) Operations within associated budgets to achieve service delivery targets. So far as is reasonably practicable , the post holder must ensure that safe working practices are adopted by employees and in premises/work areas for which the post holder is responsible to maintain a safe working environment for employees and service users. These are defined in the Corporate Health, Safety and Welfare Policy, departmental policies and codes of practice. The contract will be for an initial 6 months and candidates need to be comfortable working regularly in the Bristol vicinity.
