Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Linux Systems Administrator for a expanding business based in Northamptonshire. 

Your primary role will be to maintain and support operating systems for customer solutions including managing Linux systems administration as well as trouble shooting virtual machines or bare-metal hypervisors (OVS / KVM) server level.

You will implement operating systems and security patches as well as manage automated alerting tools (Nagios).

The ideal candidate will have strong server management skills with technical experience in:

• Linux including managing active VMs
• Server monitoring
• Scripting (Shell)
• Windows 
• Backup and Recovery
• Server Hardening

This role will be hybrid based and working office hours Monday to Friday but with overtime available.

Salary: £45,000 + Bonus
