Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a certified Network Engineer to work for a rapidly expanding IT service provider.

Working on a home working basis with customer site visits your main role will be to install, maintain and repair customers networking equipment and systems including:

• Install, configure and troubleshoot Cisco network equipment and related hardware
• Maintenance of network equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Technical guidance on wider network issues
• Plan and implement network installation and upgrades
• Produce network documentation

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Current Cisco Certifications (CCNA minimum requirement)
• Strong Cisco and networking experience including infrastructure and hardware
• Working in network related projects
• Proven experience in a customer facing role with strong communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
