Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Director of Homes and Landlord Services on a contract for initially up to 12 months.
  
You will deliver operational strategy, encourage a collaborative organisational culture, encourage continuous improvement, lead services to successful outcomes and lead 6 direct Heads of Service reports.
  
This will include service areas including Estates, Housing Repairs and Maintenance, Private Housing and Accessible Homes, Housing Options, Business Development and Housing Delivery.
  
You will ensure you develop and implement strategies that will ensure the housing stock and estates are renewed and meet the required standards. You will drive change initiatives and in particular the implementation of Transformation Programmes relating to Temporary Accommodation and Corporate Landlord Estate Rationalisation programme.
  
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Director level experience in housing management / service in a local authority environment
• Experience with large housing stocks (ideally 30,000 units plus)
• Exceptional leadership and change management skills
• Strong relationship builder
• Strategy development and implementation
• Motivating and managing teams
• Ideally hold a housing professional qualification such as CIH

  
This role will be hybrid based with weekly attendance at the Bristol office (number of days to be discussed with applicants).
