Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Senior User Researcher for a Government Department on a contract until March 2025 initially.
  
The purpose of this role is to lead on the build and support of products and services being delivered to Defence based customers enabling their clients to make better decisions and have optimum advantage.
  
You will work with Agile Teams to create and evolve multiple and complex products and services being the voice for a diverse range of users by defining user centered design methodologies to understand their needs. You will champion UX best practice and lead on analysis and synthesis of user research findings including working closely with Products Managers. As a Senior you will also supervise and develop other user researchers.
  
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar role as a Senior or Lead User Researcher with emphasis on digital based products and services.
  
Preference will be given to candidates who have past Government or Defence sector experience or hold current SC Security Clearance however this eligible to apply will also be considered.
  
Please note this role is hybrid based and will need office attendance in Exeter once per month and also as required to attend meetings, workshops and user testing.
  
Day Rate: £500 – £575 per day via an umbrella company
