Job Description:

Our established client is currently looking to recruit a CNC Programmer on a permanent basis.
  
CNC Programmer
Nottinghamshire
£40,000 – £45,000
  
The successful candidate will have previous experience programming CNC Machines, will be able to work from drawing and specifications, perform machine set ups to obtain close tolerances and read and understand basic blueprints.  Key duties include –

• Set and Operate one or more CNC / Manual machines to fabricate production parts to print specifications and quality standards in accordance with company schedules, policies and procedures..
• Require a thorough understanding of all company safety policies and objectives and the ability to properly use existing equipment, i.e., milling machines, lathes, grinders, drill, etc.
• Work from drawings and specifications to complete various machining operations.
• Perform machine set ups on 5 axis milling machines or CNC lathes
• Complete and maintain records of time, part counts, first piece instructions etc.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance of machines.
• Responsible for making jigs, fixtures or other specialized non-production devices as qualified and assigned.
• Responsible for trouble shooting drawings, machining, tooling, programming, material, etc. and making competent decisions pertaining to job at hand.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ISO or Mazatrol, however this isn’t essential.
