Our public sector client is currently looking to recruit an Accountant on a permanent basis.

North London – Hackney
  
The successful candidate will be fully or part CCAB / CIMA qualified and have experience as an Accountant / Assistant Accountant.  You will have a good understanding of financial accounting and excellent communication skills.  Key duties include

• Providing technical financial advice across the organisation
• Supporting the delivery of the Statement of Accounts, and working with internal and external audit
• Ensuring strong policies and procedures are in place to deliver sound financial practices and controls
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and modernisation
• Supporting preparations for the implementation of the new finance system
