Job Description:

Our public sector client is currently looking to recruit a Head of Planned Works on an initial 6 month contract.

£500 per day inside IR35
  
The successful candidate will have experience as a Head of Planned Works or similar and will have previously delivered housing maintenance and planned works projects.  Within the role you will manage contractors, oversee housing stock assessments, and ensure all works comply with decent homes standards and statutory requirements.
Key duties include:

• Managing housing maintenance and works contracts, ensuring compliance with TPC requirements and health and safety regulations.
• Undertaking property surveys to determine necessary repairs, improvements, and stock condition assessments to support asset management strategies.
• Overseeing and project managing planned works on-site, ensuring quality and timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Implementing a robust post-inspection regime, inspecting a minimum of 10% of all completed works.
• Providing technical reports and defect diagnoses to maintain properties in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Managing a budget of £30m
