Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Schools Accounts Payable Finance Officer on a permanent basis.

Salary: £34,416 – £36,522

Your role will be to:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to schools and internal staff regarding school payments and finance-related queries.
• Calculating and updating monthly payments to schools
• Completing financial reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies. 
• Reviewing and following up on monthly and quarterly school finance returns.
• Liaising with staff and schools to address queries.
• Proactively seeking opportunities to improve processes

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Finance or accounting experience in a school or education provider environment or other public sector business
• Accounts payable or finance payment experience
• Expert MS Excel skills
• Strong numeracy and attention to details skills
• Experience with other finance systems.
