Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Horticulture Maintenance Manager on a 6-12 month contract.

Your main role will be to plan and lead proactive and planned maintenance of green infrastructure across the county including grass, verges, hedges, trees and Right of Ways. This will include building on the data that is held on green infrastructure, developing planned and cyclical regimes and also ensuring that green assets are maintained in line with biodiversity and countryside regulations. 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Horticulture or Arboriculture Qualification
• Good knowledge of trees, hedges and verges understanding what maintenance is needed
• Planning and scheduling maintenance
• Understanding of highways / roads to balance safety and operational requirements

This role will be based from a depot in Cambridgeshire and will require 3 days per week in the office or out onsite across the county. 

Day Rate: £300 per day via umbrella company
