Our client is currently looking to recruit an Asset Manager – Property Disposals on an initial 4 month contract.

As a Property Partner, you’ll act as the strategic bridge between service teams and the property function—ensuring property is aligned with service needs, cost-effective, compliant, and delivering optimal performance.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders to develop and deliver service asset management plans, providing expert advice and property solutions that support both strategic goals and practical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate assets for their suitability, efficiency, and ability to support current and future service needs.
• Lead service-based property reviews and support cross-cutting or area-specific projects.
• Work collaboratively with public sector bodies, partners, and voluntary organisations on shared property strategies.
• Support and challenge services to make best use of their property resources.
• Provide expert guidance on property use, transactions, and legal agreements.
• Help implement rationalisation strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Represent the organisation at key internal and external meetings, including tribunals and court proceedings where necessary.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in property asset management, planning, or strategic estates.
• Strong understanding of relevant property legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
• Experience managing or supporting significant property transactions or service transformation projects.
• Ability to translate service delivery objectives into effective property solutions.
