Job Description:

Our established client is currently looking to recruit a CNC Machinist on a permanent basis.
  
CNC Machinist
Nottingham
£29,400 – £35,700
  
The successful candidate will ideally have experience/knowledge of both milling and turning and be able to read and understand basic blueprints.  You will be comfortable working to close tolerances ad be able to use various types of precision measuring devices.  Key duties include –

• Set and Operate one or more CNC / Manual machines to fabricate production parts.
• Prove out CNC programs and adjust them if required.
• Work from drawings and specifications to complete various machining operations.
• Perform machine set ups on 5 axis milling machines or CNC lathes
• Complete and maintain records of time, part counts, first piece instructions etc.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance of machines.
• Responsible for making jigs, fixtures or other specialized non-production devices as qualified and assigned.

The ideal candidate will have experience in ISO or Mazatrol, however this isn’t essential.
