Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Digital Content Designer for a Government Department on a long term contract until November 2025.
  
The purpose of this role is to create content that will create, evaluate, edit and update content to support the delivery of products and services. This can include micro copy to appear on a user interface, to single pieces of distinct content for the end to end journey of the service.
  
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Confident and competent editor who will write and review content
• Use multimedia effectively
• Ensure content is in the right place and in the best format
• Experience working closely with user researchers to ensure content is evidence based
• Writing content for digital products and communications
• Creating content for offline channels
• User centre design principles
• Agile methodologies

  
Preference will be given to candidates who have past Government sector experience or hold current SC Security Clearance however this eligible to apply will also be consider as will those from different industry sectors.
  
Please note this role is hybrid based and will need office attendance in Exeter once per month and also as required to attend meetings, workshops and user testing.
  
Day Rate: £500 – £575 per day via a umbrella company
