Job Description:

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on an initial 3 month contract.
  
Finance Business Partner
3 month initial contract – Home based
£300 per day umbrella
  
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Finance Business Partner / Accountant and ideally have worked within the public sector.  You will be confident communicating complex financial information to people without a finance background, have experience setting and managing budgets, closing accounts and compiling grant returns.  Within the role you will assist the Senior Finance Business Partner with the preparation of annual revenue estimates, the monitoring of income and expenditure and annual closedown of accounts 
Key duties –

• To assist with the preparation of annual revenue estimates.
• To meet with budget holders to discuss their budget requirements.
•  To produce regular, timely and appropriate management information to the Service Managers, Heads of Service and Directors.
• To advise on various financial matters as requested by the Senior Finance Business Partner.
• Preparation of quarterly income and expenditure monitoring reports for Corporate Management Team and Members.
• To assist with the preparation of Committee reports.
• To complete reconciliations between systems relevant to their designated service area.
