Our client is currently looking to recruit a Head of Facilities Management on an initial 3 month contract, offering £500 per day.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Lead Facilities Management role and will have held responsibility for hard and soft Facilities Management across an operational estate.  Within the role you will lead the Facilities Management service is well managed, maintained and achieves value for money through –

• An effective planned maintenance programme.
• Contract and performance management of a multidisciplinary supply chain for the delivery of planned preventative maintenance, statutory compliance testing and reactive maintenance.
• Health and safety compliance management for the estate.
• Strategic oversight of corporate facilities site and support services.
• Management of fixed and variable revenue budgets and project specific capital budgets.
• Being the lead officer on all estate and facilities collaborations.
• Proactively managing the estate to minimise service failures.

The ideal candidate will have had exposure to the public sector, and be a member of/qualified in RICS / IET / BIFM / CINSE / CION / ImechE / MIET, however this isn’t essential.
