Job Description:

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Housing Services Manager on a 12 month contract, working on a hybrid basis from Rugby.

£500 per day inside IR35

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Housing Services Manager and be confident leading the operational delivery of the housing service.  You will have previous experience in housing management, have working knowledge of housing and relevant legislations and be confident leading teams and services.  Withing the role you will be responsible for the Tenancy and Estate Housing management, overseeing the  housing management function ensuring excellent value for money and service delivery, understand the performance of the service and identify opportunities for service improvement and develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders. 
Key Responsibilities –

• Provide leadership to ensure that officers are empowered to realise their potential and to take ownership of their work. Where appropriate, to ensure that non performance is managed effectively and in a timely manner.
• Management of complex housing related projects that inform and facilitate the delivery of the housing service plan, Housing Strategy and the Housing Revenue Account business plan
• Work collaboratively with a diverse range of partners for mutual benefit and deliver outcomes required
• To work and manage the housing service and develop processes collectively with other managers in the service and corporate teams to implement service improvement changes
• Procurement, monitoring and management of Contracts relevant to the service
• Oversee the implementation and management of estates management/neighbourhood inspections to ensure any issues are picked up and dealt with effectively
• To prepare and monitor budgets affecting the service.
