Our client is currently looking to recruit an Installations Engineer on a permanent basis.
  
Installations Engineer / Field Engineer
Midlands
£40,000 – £50,000

We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Installations Engineer to support the installation and delivery of engineering solutions across customer sites throughout the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing engineering business working on high-profile projects within fast-paced warehousing and distribution environments.

The Role
As an Installations Engineer, you will be involved in the assembly, installation, and support of mechanical and electrical systems across a variety of customer sites.
Key responsibilities include:

• Installing and assembling mechanical and electrical equipment
• Supporting commissioning and testing activities
• Working safely in line with Health & Safety procedures and Risk Assessments
• Communicating effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Completing job sheets and quality documentation accurately
• Supporting servicing, breakdowns, and site-based engineering activities
• Assisting with continuous improvement and project delivery activities

About You
We are looking for someone with:

• A time-served apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• A full, clean UK driving licence
• Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when required
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
