Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Interim Close Down Accountant on a 12 month initial contract working for a busy local authority.

The main purpose of the role is to support with the delivery of the 2025/25 accounts production and subsequent audit.

You will be a fully qualified accountant (CCAB, CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with strong technical accounting and close down experience as well as working with external auditors (Big 4 Based) with an excellent eye for detail and assurance of data. 

The role will be mainly remote home based with occasional office attendance as needed by the business.

This will be a 12 month contract and offering £650 per day umbrella based.
