Job Description:

We are seeking a Material Handling Project Manager on a permanent basis for a expanding organisation.

Your main role will be to deliver the integration of material handling systems for customers from initial project plans to delivery onsite.

Your role will cover the following areas:

• Project initiation documents
• Planning project scope, costs and schedule
• Manage any project changes
• Create and maintain project schedules in MS Project
• Engaging with the required 3rd party suppliers
• Manage risks and issues
• During delivery ensure all aspects of the project are deliver within the required health and safety measures
• Liaise with Site Managers to ensure milestones are met
• Work with the customer during testing phase 
• Manage hand over and go live

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Project Managing the delivery of projects in the logistics, distribution or warehouse sector from £1m – £3m in value
• Ideally HND / HND in Engineering or similar discipline
• MS Project
• Prince 2 or APM Project Management Qualifications / Membership is highly desirable
• Strong skills across customer engagement, managing priorities, communication, people management and attention to detail. 
• Health and safety and CDM knowledge and compliance
• MF/1, NEC or CJT awareness.

This role will be home based but will require customer site visits as well as visits to the Northampton head office as needed.

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 plus £5000 car allowance, bonus and other benefits.
