Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer on a permanent basis for a busy public sector business. 

The main purpose of this role will be to provide comprehensive financial support to Finance Managers / Finance Business Partners as part of the Education and School Finance Support Team. 

This will include supporting with financial controls and reporting, budgeting, production of accounts and assisting with statutory returns, etc.

The ideal candidate will have proven accounting skills including supporting with close down of accounts along with being part or fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA, ACA, MAAT, etc. You will also have past experience in a public sector or third sector (Charity) setting. 

The role is based 1 day per week in the office every other week and offering fantastic public sector benefits.

Salary £41,442 – £44,331
