Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to work on a initial 6 month contract for a busy public sector business based in Bristol.

Your main role will be to work as part of the Adult Social Care Programme which is focused on ensuring people get the right level and type of support, at the right time to help prevent, reduce or delay the need for ongoing support, and to maximise people’s independence. The transformation Programme seeks to deliver outcomes around Community, Prevention and Digitalisation.

As the programme grows workstreams are starting to be defined including:

• Strategic review of the future of remaining in-house adult social care provider services to be completed. 
• Reviewing the proposed target operating model to support colleagues to optimise working practice and deliver more effective responses.  Take the proposed model through the business case development and planning stages to deliver the required process redesign, organisational culture and structure improvements and develop performance frameworks to embed change in every day practice.

As the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible to develop a business case seeking the necessary funding and approvals to begin planning and implementing as quickly as possible.

The ideal candidate will be a senior project manager with significant experience of change within Adult Social Care, who is able to confidently determine the resources, processes, costs and planned activities needed to deliver the required outcomes.

This role will be mainly home based but with the need to attend the office in Bristol for project meetings, workshops, etc.
